Angélica Garcia SoCal Sound Session with Byron Gonzalez
Discussing the new album Gemelo
Recorded in The SoCal Sound Studios, performing 3 songs + Interview
Angélica Garcia released a full length LP titled Gemelo, and she joined Bilingual Sounds host Byron Gonzalez for an interview in studio.
This session marks the third SoCal Sound session with Angelica Garcia, (check our YouTube channel for previous in studio sessions).
Dance and choreography is something that has been heavily incorporated into Angélica’s new music and performances, which is something that came as sort of a request from her fans.
Discussing the new dance routines in the interview, Angélica: “I actually want just to make a better show!... Well I love dancing, and moving…. a lot of how I write my music is I think about how it feels in the body. I kind of had this little epiphany with Gemelo, theres a lot of mixtures of different types of rhythm, and I had a lot of people that were confused by it…. it’s not reggaeton, and it’s not salsa, and it’s not pop, and I was like ‘OK whatever’. And i had this epiphany, I should just show people how I dance to it, so maybe they can see how they can dance.”
Angélica Garcia performed 3 songs; “Color De Dolor”, “Paloma”, “Juanita”
Angélica Garcia's Gemelo is available now on Partisan Records
