Ready for another exciting music festival? The “(De)Tour Festival," streaming Saturday, August 15th, will feature artists performing from their homes and from the stages of empty LA venues, including: The Whisky a Go Go, The Roxy Theatre, The Viper Room and The Bowery Electric in New York City.
The event will start at 10 AM PDT. Featured performers include Ringo Starr, Slash, Macy Gray, Cheap Trick, Vintage Trouble, KT Tunstall and many more. There will also be appearances from top music photographers Mick Rock, Bob Gruen, Lynn Goldsmith, Danny Clinch and Henry Diltz.
The streaming festival, co-presented by Morrison Hotel Gallery and Spotify is free to attend. Donations will be accepted live via YouTube Live and Facebook Live. All proceeds will be split between MusiCares and the National Independent Venue Association, (NIVA). Spotify, through its COVID-19 Music Relief project, will match donations up to a total of $10 million.
