Francis of Delirium Session with Julie Slater
Discussing the new album Lighthouse
Recorded in The SoCal Sound Studios, performing a special solo versions of 3 songs + Interview
Francis of Delirium has a full length LP, released last fall titled Lighthouse and joined Middays host and SoCal Sound Music Director Julie Slater for a chat!
Jana Bahrich, who goes by Francis of Delirium, is an indie rock artist from Luxembourg, and has toured with The 1975, Soccer Mommy, and Kings of Leon, among others.
Lighthouse is the debut album for Francis of Delirium, releasing a few singles prior to the release, including "Give it Back to Me", Bahrich explains the significance of putting that as the final track, ”I really feel like it made sense as the last song on the album, because it's about what you kind of like, what you learn from love, like and remaining vulnerable even after you experienced, like, heartbreak or some kind of emotional bruising, that you stay vulnerable to the people around you because then you can kind of lean on them and then you'll do the same for them in return. So it was kind of like this lesson that you learn at the end of a relationship, and I like that being kind of the punctuation mark in the album.”
Francis of Delirium performed 3 songs; “Blue Tuesday”, “Real Love”, “Give It Back To Me”
Francis of Delirium Lighthouse is available now on Dalliance Recs.
